আজ বৃহস্পতিবার (২৪শে ফেব্রুয়ারী) বিকাল তিনটার সময় উপজেলা মুক্তিযুদ্ধো কমপ্লেক্স ভবনে উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান ও উপজেলা আঃলীগের সভাপতি উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান শরিফুন্নেচ্ছা মিকি”র সভাপতিত্বে ও উপজেলা আঃলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক শাহাজান আলীর সঞ্চালনায় অনুষ্ঠিত জরুরী সভায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন ঝিনাইদহ -৩ আসনের মাননীয় জাতীয় সংসদ সদস্য আঃলীগের সহ-সভাপতি এ্যাডঃ শফিকুল আজম খাঁন চঞ্চল।
প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে এ্যাডঃ শফিকুল আজম খাঁন চঞ্চল এমপি বলেন, মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনার হাতকে শক্তিশালী করার লক্ষ্যে আগামী উপজেলার এলাঙ্গী ইউনিয়ন আঃলীগ ও পৌর আঃলীগের সম্মেলনের নানা দিকনির্দেশনা প্রধান করেন। এসময় তিনি, আগামী পৌর আঃলীগ ও এলাঙ্গী ইউনিয়ন আঃলীগের সম্মেলন সফল করার জন্য দলীয় নেতৃবৃন্দ কে এক হয়ে দলের কাজ করার জন্য আহব্বা জানান।
এসময় উপজেলা আঃলীগের সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি নুরুল ইসলাম খান বাবলু, লুৎফর রহমান, পৌর আঃলীগের আহবায়ক ফারজেল হোসেন মন্ডল, যুগ্ম আহবায়ক গোলাম সরোয়ার সহ উপজেলা ও পৌর আঃলীগের সকল নেতৃবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। উল্লেখ্য আগামী ৭ই মার্চ পৌর আঃলীগ ও ৯ই মার্চ এলাঙ্গী ইউনিয়ন আঃলীগের সম্মেলনের তারিখ নির্ধারণ করা হয়।
